Starting this for any future Lucan Corner owners. We purchased Elevation D in Phase 3 on Tough Gate.

If anyone has had their DC appointment let us know if you have any pricing...I'll try to post as soon as I see pricing for myself.

Very excited as this is my wife and I's first house; loving the layout the more and more we look at it.

It seemed very few people we vying for this model by all the availability at the sales office. But for me a double car garage was a must...anyone else have the same feelings?

It is usually that people don't want a corner lot due to more grass and side walk but a house like the Lucan that is designed for a corner lot is so much better for lay out. To come in your front door and have to go all the way through your living room to get to your kitchen is dumb. Your garage is not classed as a double it's 1 1/2 but that's alright, all the other 30 ft models are only single garage and even the biggest one (+2000 sq ft) has a single driveway with no possible way to widen it so you can park 2 cars side by side.......YOU CAN very easily. I would gladly give up 450 SQ FT and save 10K to have the layout + garage + parking any day.

Just curious, is this your first house?

This is my first house. I have been renting a townhouse for a year now and can't stand it personally.

For my lot I made sure to check with the city so I do not have a sidewalk.

I know it's not truly a 2 car garage but with my wife's smaller car should be no issue to get 2 in there. The Plan 5 corner has the same style garage and can fit 2 easily from what I've seen.

Lucan Corner was one of my favorite models from the latest release.

Design appointment set for beginning of March. Will update once we have produced out all the options.

Am I the only Lucan owner with the internet?

Had a chance to take a preview of a Lucan Corner - Elevation C (don't ask how). This unit had 8' ceilings, standard kitchen, waffle ceilings, fireplace, plasma ready in great room .... As far as I could tell.

Personally after seeing waffle ceilings not a fan - but maybe better with our 9' ceilings

Enjoy and see pics below.

Got our brick colour today...Hanson Old Markham

They are only revealing brick colour right now so all other items, although chosen the customer care rep couldn't share.

I just hope to god it's not blue shutters, we saw this up in the brampton release and are hoping we have a different colour scheme.

You don't get to choose the brick colour?

Nope not in Hawthorne Village Phase 3. Which is pretty disappointing, but I knew at the time of signing. What I did not know is that the brick is all they will tell us, siding, shutters, doors and trim won't be available since our community is architecturally controlled till closing.

My customer care rep:
"Often in the case of architecturally controlled communities we do not release this information to homeowners until closing. We have found in the past this to be very successful, as it is an added excitement to closing."

I see this being more gut wrenching than exciting.

Which community are you in, and do you have a Lucan?

I'm in HVE, good luck with the rest of your exterior, I'm sure it'll turn out nice

Makes for a lot of exterior painting after closing. Or are you contractually prohibited from making any exterior changes, and if so, for how long?

So we got the heads up from our coordinator that the colour schemes are at the sales centre for our colour package.

Although of all the colours of shutters we did not want blue...we were lucky and got blue shutters.

See picture below: honestly wish for another scheme. But I guess we are stuck.

I think that looks fabulous! On my iPad the color looks more gray than blue, but I can see that it's a slightly blue-toned gray. Looks terrific, IMO.
