Same here. Our design consultant told us there is no way to delete the bulkheads in the kitchen and thus we could not order the stacked cabinets. Then at the frame-walk we noticed there are no bulkheads, so i guess i can install stacked cabinets later if i really wanted to ... not sure about it anymore :).
This is how my kitchen came out - pretty happy with the results.

Your kitchen looks great. Sad to think though that you could have installed stacked cabinets before possession if you wanted them and their blunder stopped you from ordering them. I kid you not, it's my SO's only must have. He HATES bulkheads? He's even studying old construction photos hoping for at least a partial deletion over the fridge. I don't know. She seemed pretty sure when she said no. I'll tell her to check with architecture. Fingers crossed

I looked at my design centre notes and it states it may not be available on all models.

We had Elevation D Victorian and our neighbours have Elevation B - Craftsman and theirs are deleted.

The note from our book says Thomas Tran at Mattamy Confirmed.

Ask your DC to request the same info from him.

we(dj_idolize) and myself just had our framewalk yesterday, we are pleased that we don't have any bulkheads or even partial for that matter. we asked what would make them put in the bulkheads in the first place for all lucan corners and what Tony Brown advised was it all depends on what goes on above, he said sometimes if you have a bath oasis in master it could make a lucan have bulkheads but they did advise they try there best to avoid bulkheads. we got the supershower, regardless we're happy!

Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone has pictures of their staircase and also the family room upstairs (considering knee wall replacement). We are considering staircase options and would love to see a few examples come to life. Wondering if white risers would look good as the staircase is unfortunately concealed for the most part and looks like it will be more narrow vs. grand on the floor plan

Hello Lucan Corner Owners, if possible can you proudly post a few kitchen and living room pictures. I am trying to decide on my options and would like to see some great ideals and see what the kitchen would look like with the island and the optional counter. Also I would like to see a completed waffle celling to see if this looks good.

Thanks

Just completed the waffle ceiling yesterday actually (not Mattamy though). Kitchen is the peninsula version, gives a little more cabinet and prep space.

Thanks for the pictures they look great. If not Mattamy who did your waffle ceiling? Also does anyone have a picture with the island ktcheb model. I would love to see the style and how much cabinets you really get?

Thanks

This is also the alternate kitchen, but the peninsula is all counter height instead of split counter/bar height like Kyle and Jays. Maybe the design is different now? Also, the pantry is a good option that wasn't in the design book!
