You are right, it is different than the pics on the website. Did they show you any drawings at the pre construction meeting?
I guess it wouldn't work well if the steps were aligned to the door because of the column there.

I didn't pay attention to it when I visited the site for the pre-con meeting. But I just don't like how it looks but I am not sure if I can do anything about it now. This makes more sense to me and definitely looks better than how mine turned out.

Yes I've never seen that and does look like they messed up. You should check the elevation sheet included with your design centre upgrades. You definitely have an argument if it's not what you signed for.
Good luck

Hello - are the picture attachments of the Trenton home in this thread still available to view? I click on attachment but it won't let me view it.

I think there's something wrong with the Hawthorn Villager server. Attachments more a few months old aren't loading at all across the site.

Boo!

Would you happen to still have some pictures? I am looking to buy Trenton in January.

If you do still have them, can you email to me please (if you don't mind)

Hello: I just noticed this Trenton on MLS. I know that we like to see pictures of the model that we purchased, so I thought I'd pass it along.

almost 700k! wow! I'd be interested to find out how much it goes for!
Thanks for posting this, I was wondering what it would look like with the den closed off, but we chose to save the money and leave it open

Wow, on the site it says, "more than $90K spent In upgrades". That's insane. Most of the upgrades they spent money on (wall-paneling, bathroom backsplash, ), seems more well-suited for a larger, fancier house. Not to mention, a good chunk of Trenton owners consider their homes to be a 'starter home'.

We left the den open as well. IMO, closing it off makes that entire space look too small.

I found these two virtual tours online last night! I love seeing the different options people chose and getting ideas. My July 2017 closing seems so far!

Hi Guys,

I went to check out my Trenton model today and surprised to see how the porch is build, my closing is in Jan, 2016. Is it supposed to be like this or is just a f*** up from the builder? I checked my design booklet and the grading plan and steps are supposed to be right in front of the door and the siding shouldn't be in front of the door. Is it just me or is this normal, to me it just seems messed up?

Congrats your home looks great - it is off spec for sure but still looks great - did you speak to them?

In our Trenton we did wainscoting, crown molding, pot lights, upgraded the lights, did a chair rail in the powder room, upgraded all the tops to granite/quartz, new backplash, lights, I'm missing the walk in and hardwood upstairs - it did not cost me 90k, though I would be very happy if he gets that for it. All good with me :) Area is in high demand
