I actually have a Lancaster model and found the same problem with the single doors. I had asked my appliances to be delivered through the patio sliding doors, as the patio sliding doors for the Lancaster seem bigger than average sized to me. This way delivery doesnt have to come through the hardwood to your tiled floors but straight into the tiled floors to the kitchen.

Take off the doors, flip it on its side and "roll" it in around the frame through the garage door? (if you put it on its side though, wait 24 hours before plugging it in).
We had the same problem with a giant fridge and stove I bought and our house is a million years old... I wish I could see the look on the future owner's faces when they try to get it out lol...

Hi there, we got our appliances delivered today from the Brick and everything fit through the doors of our Kingsbridge. I'm not sure how our door compares to the Lancaster's though.

I'm not sure which appliances you got specifically, but we purchased all Fridgedaire for the kitchen (French door fridge w/ ice maker, double oven, and dishwasher) and all the handles came separately and we are putting them on ourselves.

Thanks for the feedback. I spoke to Sears, Milton and they said they will take the handles off and put
on again for free. They will also price match and hold for over 90 days. They can order all makes and models.

Yes, definitely get them to put the handles on!

After the delivery guys dropped everything off today, my Finace figured it was standard that we had to put on the handles ourselves. When he was doing this he noticed the mounting bracket for one of the the handles must have fallen off the fridge when it was transported. He noticed less than an hour after they left, and it took literally several hours of calling and getting transferred around the Brick to get them to do anything about it. Finally, about 6 hours later, we got confirmation that they will send us a replacement part in the mail.

Has anybody installed a counter depth french door fridge in a lancaster? Curious too see if the doors are able to open fully, or does the right door bang against the wall?

We are deciding between a full size vs counter depth, but i want to doors to be able to open fully.

Yes I have one but it is one door not two. What do you mean "doors to be able to open fully"? Do you mean 180 degrees? If so why? We never have a reason to open more than 90 to 100 degrees. A counter depth fridge fits so much better with only the width of the door plus handle sticking out beyond the counter not like a standard size that can go as much as 10" passed the counter.

I had to remove all the doors off my fridge (36" french door) in order to get it into the house (single door Renfrew). It wasn't hard, since the fridge came with instructions to do it. Taking off the handles alone wasn't enough. I also didn't feel like rolling the fridge in because I did not want to let it sit for a day before I could plug it in. Once the doors were off, it was easy to bring in.
