23' feel pretty small, especially if your house is wide (the model you mentioned is 56' wide). I could've sworn my lot was 10' at most until I measured it and turned out, it was 25'.

Yeah it can be quite deceiving I guess. It was probably just me

Do city bylaws allow home owners to fully pave over their backyards? I know there are rules around front yards.

I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

I'm in the process of purchasing a house in phase 3 and mattamy has told me that my backyard will be a 36 x 23.
The lot size is a apparently 36x88. I was wondering if you had any pictures of a similar backyard?

Thanks

23' is the minimum depth for backyards in Milton.
If you see the pics posted in the earlier part of this discussion thread (page 1)
you will likely see a similar size to the 36' x 23' lot you are purchasing.

Good luck & welcome to Milton !

you know what would be cool. If the town of Milton made the minimum backyard distance 50 feet from now on. This 23 feet crap is being abused by the builders. Who would have thought they would actually use 23 foot most of the time
