How long it takes between Milton-Vaughan during rush hours?

Is that using the 407? Wow, that's still quite a long time.

Do most of you guys have a salary threshold that influences whether you work that far from home or not? Fuel, 407 bills, getting home late (which sometimes lead to buying take-out for supper), more car maintenance, that stuff quite adds up!

When I leave in the morning (6:30am) I get to my work (404&Finch) around 7:35am. If I take the 407, I get to work anywhere from 7:10-7:15. It is a $10 ride one way on the 407 from Milton to the Highway 404.

Best way to cut down on 407 is take the 401 across in the morning, it isn't too bad. Coming home you HAVE to take the 407 as the 401 could take 2 hours just to get home to Milton.

Obviously you have to factor your salary in with costs, but it is definatly worth it!

Thx for the feedback. The 407 transponder is like $20-something per year only, right? I should get one.
