Andrea, our package was TS-14 and the brick is called Old Woodward.

Hey milton_martian, I love your colours ... the black posts really pop and it looks great with your brick.

Thanks so much for posting the alt-GR pics, milton_martian. Those built-ins are fabulous!

Do you have a pic (or two or three or...) to share of your kitchen? I've never seen the standard kitchen in a Juneberry and would love to see how it looks.

... And if you want to post more pics, please do!! Can't ever have too many juneberry pics, lol.

Great kitchen, milton_martian! It's the first standard kitchen I've seen and I didn't realize how large that window would be ... it must be so nice and bright in your kitchen. Your dark island and white cabinets look fantastic!

I noticed that some Juneberry's have a bulk head in the kitchen above the cabinets and some don't? Looks like duct work might run through them. What could be different that they need to create a bulk head?

Milton Martian thank for your response and that makes sense for your kitchen layout because of the location of your stove but in the pictures posted by rrknight they have a bulk head as well yet their stove is on the outside wall. You would think the fan exhaust would just exit straight out instead of running to the back of the house. There must be another reason for their bulkhead.

I don't think there is a reason for the other bulkhead (optional plan) You just have to request to have it deleted, if you don't you will get a bulkhead.

Funny story- I was just looking through this post and noticed the last picture of the kitchen that Milton Martian posted and I was thinking- Ohhh nice kitchen it really looks like ours- I like it...well turns out it is a picture of my kitchen

Anyway regarding the bulkheads maybe that person with the Juneberry listing on MLS wanted the bulkhead there to help with covering the ductwork for their hoodfan. I know that Milton Leo's house was factory built and ours was not so I really believe that either some people don't know it's an option to have the bulkhead removed or that they just like it and wanted to use it to their advantage to cover up stuff.

You know what's odd Buttafly, is that our neighbours who have the exact same kitchen layout and had also requested their bulkheads to be deleted ended up with a big bulkhead on their outside wall. They were understandably furious and I would have been too! Mattamy said it was because of the heat register in their master closet, but we have the same heat register there and no bulkhead. And we were both factory built so go figger.

Mattamy took out their original large bulkhead and replaced it with the smaller bulkhead like what's over milton_martian's fridge and then they covered it with large crown molding so it looks great now. But I don't think there's necessarily a rhyme or reason to the bulkhead placement. :?

To all recently closed Juneberry owners- do you have the stainless metal accent strips on your fireplace and do you have the brick inserts?

Thanks.

Hello Milton_Martian,

We have decided not to get shutter's in our home, we are looking into remote control window shades instead, but we were seriously considering them. My neighbor got their Juneberry finished with shutters. Their advise was to get the wood ones cause they have no gaps. All window's are not square so when ordering plastic shutters their can be gaps, with the wood they just plain the wood on site leaving a custom fit look.. or so, this is what I was told  Just passing on the info for you to consider. Plus someone else mentioned that wood does not attracted the dust like plastic (the static in plastic or something like that) Mind you I heard wood is more expensive, plastic is more pocket friendly. I was also told it'll be around $7000 for wood shutters on the Juneberry. Not sure what the pricing for plastic would be. Good luck shopping.

Buttafly, I'm not sure what you mean, but your welcome to drop by, mine the move in mess.
