What's up, Coombsters!!!
It's been a really long time since we've posted anything here, hope our neighbours are all doing well! :) Just been reading past posts, and there's a LOT to catch up on! I cannot believe it's been 7 months since we camped out for 3 days at the Sales Centre. Good times!!! And now I'm wondering if there's gonna be another line-up right about...now?! LOL Did you guys get the email for the Vista release this Saturday for 26 lots (36', 43' and 50')? Do you guys know where these lots could possibly be located?

Anyway we also wrapped up all of our interior and exterior upgrades with the Design Ctr, after going back and forth (couldn't make up my mind on some stuff) with our consultant. I'm just glad she was so patient with us! And it was so nice to see some of you from time to time there. We got the call too for our pre-construction meeting (we set it for May 28th since that's the only day we're really available). Anyone else set their pre-construction meeting or already had it? If so, how did it go?

As of late, we have been super busy with our current house as we are hoping to have it up for sale by next week already! It's earlier than we thought we would put it up for, but I guess the sooner the better. So we'll see how that goes! We were sad to miss the Coombsters get-together last February, and it sucks because we will not be able to make it to the next one either due to prior engagements. :(

Hope to see you all again soon...Mattamy U? Anyway, we'll try and get back here more often.

Christine & Sal

Yup got an email. The price of the 36's have gone up by $25000. I'm gonna try and pass by tommorow after my pre-construction meeting and see if I can get any info on where the site will be...I wonder if a line up has started?

Just an idea...but maybe in the future, like next summer, we should do a real camp out at Rattlesnake point

Yep I got the e-mail as well. We will probably drive by tonight to check out the prices:)
Not sure where these lots will be, either at Tremaine & Pringle OR at Pringle & Jelinik where there is a small plot of land next to the Greenpark homes.

Dean: Alex and I would be up for camping....although I should warn you that the last time we camped was in 2002 at the Pinery...we bought a massive 10 person tent, which took us hours to set up. Has not been used since :)

Amy: I saw your & Caleb's baby photo at Dr. Cvetic's office yesterday...looks like his 1st bday is coming up very soon!

So we had our pre-construction meeting and swung by the sales office. This is the phase 4 which is going next to Tremaine and south of Pringle. 34 people lined up already for 26 houses, first person was their at 1am this morning. The prices have increased substantially. Sorry about the pitcure quality. Cheap camera phone...

In terms of the pre-construction meeting. They just wanted to go over the upgrades and so on and meet us. Nothing really came up. However, I would recommend the meeting if you wanna build repoire with Joe the building manager. Bascially, the head office has to authorize any changes to walls or deletion of walls. No additions or modifications to electrical/plumbing or structural. PM me if you want other specific details.

So what is the Walnut going for? 475? This is really ridiculous. I live in Oakville but apparently it is more expensive for a new house in Milton than a house in Oakville of the same size? Sorry, but I don't get it. I absolutely, LOVE Milton but Oakville is supposed to be more expensive to live in and I was counting on that so I could move to Milton and afford to live there. Now I can't....just plain sad. : ( I want to live with all my Coombs Neighbours and my family....this was my last shot!

The Walnut starts at $450990, but their is a huge lined up there already...

Just wanted to say Dean and anyone else who has helped Dean, compose all that info in the 1st post (Milton doctors, school info) is great.

It was only a few weeks ago that Geeta and I were thinking about switching doctors due to proximity (both of ours are in Toronto) which is not going to be practical when we move in!

Just wanted to say thanks for the info, you guys rock!

~ Sunny

get ready for the construction nails in your tires! That is one special treat when visiting your house during construction.

I am not sure if you guys are aware, but the south side of Coombs have foundations put in on the inner half. The outer half is being dug up and they are starting the bases for those. The hydro box appears to be in front of lot #30. Lots #24-28 have foundations up.

Also, Mattamy University appears to be set for June 24th. I probably won't be there due to the G20 Summit, but Isabella may go.
