As I mentioned in another thread I thought it would be usefull to have a seperate thread on the trustee positions for the election in October.
It would be helpful to have our candidates (Donna Danielli and now Brian and hopefully others) help us understand what it is they do. Its a thankless job I know and requires a lot of time and effort and it would be helpful for voters to realize what it is they do.
Also maybe they can outline what they plan on doing for us to help improve the quality of programs at our schools, what their intentions are to kick the provincial government in the pants and get our schools built so principals like Mr Clatworthy at HVPS dont have to deal with over 1200 students. On a personal note, I think he along with our other principals are handling the situation amazingly...we are very lucky to have them in Halton.
Also if the candidates can outline their previous experience if any at the school level and what they can bring to the table for the next 4 years around the Halton School Board (or Seperate School Boards)
