Wow that's exciting! Soon we will have something to go inside. Did anyone hear if the construction workers are behind due to the world cup? I know it was a concern but it looks like they kept working.

I personally think their ahead of schedule. FYI, was at the site tonight...Lot #11...cheers!

I think you're right total package, it seems they are ahead of schedule, and Joe said "only if Portugal wins the World Cup" will there be possible delays. Since the neighbouring country won, I think we're good for our closings. (knock on wood/wood frames)

Hello Coombsters!

Just wanted to pass on the great news that there is another baby on the block!

Michael Alexander was born last Tues, July 6th, weighing 6 lbs 10 oz (3.0kg) and was 20 inches long (51 cm). Although 2.5 weeks early, he is doing amazing, as is mommy! He is an angel of a baby and we cannot get enough of him!

We look forward to having him meet everyone at the next get together.

Just an FYI, Sears is doing a 36 month equal payments on appliances if no one has bought yet which ends this weekend. They also price match anyone as well. Just bought ours today, spent alot but saved $4000 with the price match.

Yup. Was your roof and brick done when you went for your frame walk? You find any issues? What was the frame walk all about?

Yes, the brick and the roof was on. Actually it was about pointing out of all our upgrades, electrical sockets location... Very general. But we've made a list of what we'd like to point out and we followed according to our list room by room.
We had some structural mistakes ( standart master ensuite instead of upgraded one , trims were not removed), squeky floors, holes in the plywood....
Everything what we pointed out was fixed later. The guys are good.
Though we still have in some places with squeaky floor and they promised to fix it. We'll see.

Hi Coombsters! Hope everyone's been enjoying their summer so far! The houses are being built really quickly, it's exciting to see our street develop so fast...

Quick question! Does anyone know our new postal code yet? If so, can you please let me know? :)

Thanks!!
Christine
