Hi Patrob,

Just going through the photos and noticed the sinks you have in your boys bathroom. Are these called recessed sinks? And where can I buy them?

Thanks

Here is more info :) but it's called 'Self Rimming Sink' so it "sits" partially on the counter.

Hi Shawna and Phil,

Is this an included tile? If so, what is the name of it please? I love your kitchen.

Thanks.

Great job seamas13 ! That wooden hood with the arch makes the kitchen look "custom" :)

How much did it cost you to upgrade to the big pantry?

about 1K, but I purchased directly from Cartier and installed myself

yes. It was around 2K (with the pot/pan drawer) + another $500 for a powerpack blower.

The Ara White granite at the Mattamy DC is beautiful, this was also a granite we were interested in.
It's most common name is actually Bianco Antico. The slabs at Mattamy's granite supplier & many other suppliers we visited are actually much more grey, & not as white as the sample at the DC.
We were told from many suppliers that the slabs they are receiving are now all like this & they can't control it, it's just the section they are cutting at the quarry. Just something to keep in mind, if you are after the crisp white look the slabs may not look like that.
Any ogee edge is my fav, can't go wrong !
Good Luck !

We are also very interested in Bianco Antico, but finally we will give up and select quartz because the same price in Mattamy? Does anyone feel like this granite color is too busy?

We have this fridge too...and it's perfect counter depth, however it is taller than the standard Mattamy fridge opening so you'll have to have the height adjusted. It's the GE Cafe CustomStyle Counter Depth Side by Side Fridge.
