A&A - looks great! I can't wait to see it done - when I walk across the street for coffee :) The dark floors and counter will look so great as contrast.

Thanks, MiltonLeo. 2 more sleeps! I am in a pile of boxes but when I find my papers, I'll let you know what colour the tile is. I really can't remember. I'm happy how it turned out though. It's so hard to see it all together from the small samples you get to see at the DC.

I can just look in your windows, GNAD.
I think my window seat is directly across from your spare room...The kids might have fun playing peekaboo through those!

So Juneberriers! How did you cover the box window in the kitchen. We have faux wood blinds in the rest of the house (or at least we will) and if we do faux wood there, I'm not sure how to measure so it will fit and look nice. Thoughts?

LOL GNAD. I just automatically referred to the room according to our set up expecting everyone is the same
I'll let you know tomorrow about the scaffolding. We get the keys at lunch. I foresee some mischief taking place with the placement of those windows

A&A, the kitchen looks beautiful :D

And great idea to have Mattamy just install hardwood in the kitchen & do the rest after closing for less!
I am sure Mattamy was a bit puzzled at first when you told them you wanted hardwood just in the kitchen

Depending on the direction of your joists, you can actually have the new hardwood "feathered" into existing hardwood
so it looks seamless with no threshold between the kitchen & family room.

Are there any other Juneberry owners experiencing cold rooms upstairs? The front two bedrooms are noticably colder than the others. The heat comes through the vents but I'm wondering if it's because of the peak ceilings? I'm not sure how to rectify.

Any new buyers might want to ask if they can put in an extra vent in these rooms.....

My master bedroom is boiling, the two front rooms are very cold. The one on top of the Garage is so cold I don't think anyone could sleep in it.

Hi All,

Here a few pics of our recently closed Juneberry! :D
P.S. Yes we know that you can see the light through the upper and lower valence- Mattamy will be fixing that this week! ;)
