Anybody know what's going down? Saw maybe 5 cop cars, a cop trailer/van and 1052-1054 was taped off like a crime scene. Things are getting scary in Milton.

My guess is a murder took place, but just a guess based on the cop cars and a coroner-type man in a suit on the premises. Plus I grew up in Scarborough and saw these scenes all the time.

It can happen in any community, but I find it funny that in the surrounding area, people have nothing better to do than to stand and keep watching.

Milton, man. If I was from say...Jane and Finch, like you are, this would all be routine for me. I bet you've been inside a jail cell once or twice. Not me.

What's scary is the escalating manner of crime in Milton.

It is a homicide.

Halton region is the safest in Canada these things can happen anywhere I wouldn't say these things are escalating in Milton. It's not like there is a serial killer on the loose it's most likely a domestic incident so have nothing to fear you cannot go anywhere in the world and not have things happen so don't worry everything will be fine

Large "Forensics" van there as well as a mobile police command unit RV. When we drove by earlier it was just cop cars and ambulance but now there's a lot more.

My Mom lives directly across the street. She also said it was an adult and a child. Police came over to ask if the heard or saw anything

It happens. Crazy people are everywhere.
Don't think Milton is a safe haven.
Don't get me wrong tho, Milton is safer than most of the GTA.. For now.
Give it another 5-10 years and it'll be Brampton West :/

I'm from Vancouver, but I've lived in several different places.

Milton is extremely safe, with the most common crime being some jerkoff kid B&E cars on the street.

Homicide is terrible, but it's a universal problem usually unrelated to locality.

Get a security camera for your house to add some peace of mind. I helped the police catch some kid with mine. Stole my son's ipod from my car two years ago. But I don't think you have much to fear here.

Man, you are a gigantic loser. Do you seriously believe that murders and crime only happen on Jane and Finch or that because cops don't make routehero pee in his big boy undies like they do to you, he's been to jail? You need to get your head out of your ass and take a breath of fresh air.

Although nowhere does it say homocide merely two deceased people and not looking for suspects I would hazard a guess a murder suicide
