Here is the latest building statistics. No sign of the housing market slowing down as so far in 2012 this is the highest number of residential building permits since 2007 before the recession.

Next week regional council will be meeting to debate and approve the 2013 budget which includes projects such as the Derry road underpass funding, Tremaine road construction for a 6 lane urban standard road from Derry road to a new Britannia road traffic circle and Tremaine road re-alignment to a four lane urban standard road north of Main St. W. to the new Steeles Avenue traffic circle and the connection of James Snow parkway from Steeles Avenue to Boston Church road, and the Highway #25 widening to 4 lanes from Britannia road to the #407 interchange all to be completed in 2013.
