Why is it that someone would start a thread about people that price match vs starting one about the price match policy itself? A means to segregate?

Don't hate the playa...

How are social interactions for you geek? Kind of awkward? Hey if the mathematically intelligent think to do is save your pennies with a piece of paper regardless of the inconvenience it causes those around you and the social stigma attached to being a cheapass then you have to do it correct? Its what the book would say in school. A penny saved is a penny earned. It must be the way to go since it rolls off the tongue like a poem.

Never met a jackass such as Princess Beata. Hope I never will. Doesn't really care about price matching, just wants to set a record for most posts in the shortest time.

You're right, besides, I can't afford to feed the troll b/c I'm not aloud to price match.

Wow, I can't believe this thread is still going ! Hey princess B, "saving 50 cents is alot of money. You know, you save 50 cents over here, you save 50 cents over there, then you have $1. You take that $1 and go to the dollar store and you buy something else" !

"It's not being cheapass, It's being smart" !

I was price matching at Superstore today. Saved quite a bit on fruit/vegetables alone.
I even used three paper flyers AND the ap on my phone.
And I didn't tell the people behind me, that I was price matching. They lined up behind me even though they saw the flyers--obviously wasn't someone who cared :)

you're allowed when its not busy. Like in the early morning. just have some consideration. Or don't, that's why you price match and don't give the person behind you a heads up.

Lolololol, now her insults have devolved to vague, incoherent gibberish. Should have stayed in school, princess.

I was just letting the person know they are allowed to price match. They thought they weren't allowed to price match.

There are several aps on iphone that people can use. I have flipp on my phone which basically has all the flyers on it. You then click on what you want to price match, and then it creates a page of 'clippings' so you can show those to the cashier. It's quick and easy as well when you are organized with all your price matching items together.

People that price match should check out the app flipp...its amazing.

Soupy and no one -- THANK YOU for sharing info about this app, it's amazing!!

Last week I was at no frills behind someone price matching and I asked the cashier if they accepted price matching via the app. She said oh yes, and they prefer the app because its quicker and easier.

So today I tried the app for the first time. Got cauliflower for 2.47 and gay lea butter for 2.99, and it took like 10 seconds with flipp. I can't believe how simple that was. Almost seems like cheating using the app, lol.

Thanks again, and thanks Pricess Beata for bringing this price-saving opportunity to my attention. :-)
