Quality Foothills 4bed/4bath detached that pays you an average of $500+/Mth from owned solar panels.

Quality built by Intracorp and located in a prime area steps from escarpment and park. This lovely 2800 sq. ft. (approx.) home a features a fantastic layout and pays you an average of $500+/Mth from owned solar panels. It's beautifully decorated and upgraded with full brick, dark hardwood floors throughout (except bedrooms), dark oak stairs with iron pickets, wainscoting, crown moulding and expensive light fixtures. The kitchen has dark oak cabinets, granite counters, centre island, stone backsplash and hi-end stainless steel appliances with a gas range. Upstairs you will find a massive master with spa-like ensuite and huge walk-in closet. The other 3 bedrooms are large as well and all have private access to a bathroom. No side walk in front so 4 car parking on driveway. Owned solar panels generate around $6,000 a year($120,000 off the purchase price over 25 years at 3%) at an amazing rate of 54.9c/kWh (almost double the current rate) for the next 20 years. With this monthly return this home comes with amazing value.

Just an FYI.

current rate is 39.6 cents. 54.9 is not quite close to the double range...

I would say half is the look and the other half, well it's got a few perks. Brick is durable in almost any weather conditions; especially in high wind or large hail. It's not easy to remove or cut through. Brick homes also tend to be quieter inside, more effectively blocking out the outside noise. Some argue that brick cools your house more than siding in the winter but if you have insulation up to current code I would argue that. Siding is also the cheaper option so in unless you live in tornado valley having brick is not that important. However, most buyers prefer having at least some brick.
Hope this answers your question.
Mike
