if you are only saving $3.00, then you are doing it wrong.

Lets see a show of hands. How many people here, after this thread started, are now price matchers?

I just saved $0.13 thru price matching. It only took 5 minutes to finalize and I am elated. People behind me were very encouraging and I learned a few new words I had never heard before. Must have been a foreign language for sure. :D :D

Yes, I have priced matched since this thread but not on a regular basis due to lack of free time with work. The savings can be great if done properly (credit to noone's previous post). It does take some time to organize through the flyers but well worth the savings.
Aside from the savings, I think some people feel compelled to do it more now that they know there is a possibility of encountering someone like PB.

Another suggestion is not shop at stores that price match, such as Longos.

I didn't know this thanks! I noticed the quality of the customers there have been way above what you find at Loblaws and Walmart. Maybe this is why. I'll definitely try to go there more now that I know I wont have a chance of running into those fat losers with as someone said sweat pants. rsrsrsrsrsrs

Im still confused as f about this whole "rsrsrsrsrsrs" business.
I mean, it's not even like a typo of lolololol or hahahahahaha as they are nowhere near those letters.

I would pricematch if i knew scambait PB were waiting in line behind me, just to be a pisser.

PB- why do you continue to go to these "price matching" stores??? We all would like an answer please.

So your solution is I should avoid the price matchers? that makes no sense. This is Canada.

The solution is simple. If you want to whip out the flyers when theres a lineup of people trying to pay the "regular" price, like you're smarter than everyone else and will therefore make them all wait while you save your $2, do it when the store is empty. Have some respect for other peoples time. Don't step all over all of us trying to pay for our groceries so we can go home. Your time isn't more special than the 4 people behind you. Clearly you don't care because you don't even acknowledge your wasting everyones time by doing it. I guarantee you that you're the same people that are texting and have to be honked at to move your car when the light turns green. And then you flash the bird because it was only 2 seconds.

You failed to answer the question. We are still waiting.

its a dumb question, I didn't think it was a real question. But ill humour you.

the stores aren't 'price matching stores'. Theyre normal stores that want to kiss your cheap ass so you go shop there. All of us normal people end up getting screwed when your cheap ass actually takes them up on it and show up with a flyer from another store and tries to save your $2. No one wants to see you do it. Not the stores, not us normal people in line behind you. Just you do it and you screw up everyone around you when you do it. You're inconsiderate. Do it when the store is empty, either in the morning or at night. Or at least let people know that get in line behind you that you're doing it so they can get the hell away from you like you just dropped a massive fart.

Me!

I never heard of flipp before this thread and now I use it all the time. Tonight I was at no frills and needed a dozen lean cuisines for quick dinners and they were $3.28 each. Checked flipp and they were $2 at target so I price matched and saved $15.36. In return I bought a $2.47 box of cereal for the food bank bin. Every time I price match I pay something forward to the Sally Ann food bin -- everyone wins, me, the food bank, and John@NoFrills. :-)

the stores aren't 'price matching stores'. YES they are PRICE MATCH stores b/c they price match, DUH. Theyre normal stores that want to kiss your cheap ass so you go shop there. YES they kiss my ass by saving me money, you pay full price, how dumb is that? All of us normal people WHAT do you mean by "ALL OF US" you are the only one on this forum of over 11,600 members that keeps complaining about it.end up getting screwed when your cheap ass actually takes them up on it and show up with a flyer from another store and tries to save your $2. WE don't try to save money, WE DO. No one wants to see you do it. I DON'T CARE. Not the stores, not us normal people in line behind you. Just you do it and you screw up everyone around you when you do it. NO I don't, I'm organized. You're inconsiderate. NO. Do it when the store is empty, either in the morning or at night. Or at least let people know that get in line behind you that you're doing it so they can get the hell away from you like you just dropped a massive fart. NO, just like you, my time is valuable so I don't have nor will I waste my time to explain what is none of your business.
That was fun :D

No worries, PB would have as she is a glutton for punishment.
