It never ceases to amaze me that the same people complaining about the extra minute in line at the register are the same ones who will spend half an hour debating whether they should buy the 325 gram size on sale or the 300 gram size not on sale. Never mind the half hour spent picking just the right fruit and/or vegetable. Don't get me started on the egg sorters. But when it is time to check out, somehow their time becomes more valuable. Strange world we live in.

Actually, we have. Someone monopolies the whole door while they check and sort and check some more.
But quite frankly, hon, I think you missed the point I was making. Good try, though.

That's what I hate about Milton. All the mortgage of an exclusive area, and none of the benefits. Believe me, this would not be an issue in similarly priced suburb of any major US city. I hate the fact that we cannot price our way out of the trash.

I don't understand why you would be so upset with price matching. If it bothers you so much, why on earth would YOU still shop there? Choose a different retailer or just shut up. You have a choice...use it wisely so you don't waste your precious time. And yes, I price match. I look forward to the day you are behind me in line.

its this attitude from the price matchers that comes off as they make everyone wait in line so they save $2. See how they think theyre better than us?

Not an attitude. It is quite the opposite, you are the one who thinks that your time is more valuable then everyone elses. This is my first post regarding this issue. You "The Price matching Nazi" are the one who is constantly complaining about pricing matching and threatening to embarass people that are price matching. There are always people who complain but don't don't try to find a solution to their problem, instead they complain about practices and procedures that are in place by a retailer to generate more revenue.

all you have to do is do it when the store isn't busy or at least have some courteousness and decency and let the person coming up in line behind you that you plan on doing it so we can get in another line. that's it. just some respect. how do you feel about that?

I still don't understand why I have to shop when it's convenient for you.
Real Canadian Superstore Price Match Policy
Show us a lower advertised price on an identical item and we will match it. Applies only to our major supermarket competitor’s print advertisements in Ontario (i.e. flyer, newspaper).
We will match the competitor’s advertised price only during the effective date of the their print advertisement. Our major supermarket competitors are determined solely by us and are based on a number of factors which can change from time to time.
Identical items are defined as same brand, item type (in the case of produce, meat and bakery), size and attributes and carried at this store location.

I don't understand how it wasting your time. I go shopping and line up just like everyone else. First come first serve. Once again for you non price marchers, why shop at a retailer with policies you disagree with. Your are anger is directed at the wrong party.

Hey Princess Beata? You know whats worse than a cheap ass, broke ass , sh*t paying job, price matcher?

A "trailor trash" behaving hood rat who yells out cheap ass, broke ass, get a better job to price matchers.

One day, you are going to get your teeth knocked out but then again it will match the look you seem to be aiming for.

How about simply not shopping at a store that price matches?
Look for a store with no cars in the parking lot if all local ones will price match

I still don't understand what it matters what the person in line in front of you is doing. They lined up just like you did, except they happened to be in front of you. If you don't want to wait in line or are upset about the amount of time it takes to get to your turn, go to another store or shop when you have more time. Same goes to the people whose heads explode when they discover you have to clip your kid into their carseat (or my favorite, kid needs to be changed before getting in the carseat lol)
This whole mentality of everyone demanding that everyone be considerate of them and respect them is getting a little out of hand. Want to know what's respectful and considerate? Recognizing that some people don't have it all together so just be patient with them and behave like a human being.

see how they all refuse to be courteous and just give a simple heads up to the person coming in line behind them? That's why they need to get shamed. Hit them with a "Thanks for giving me a heads up" and shake your head and roll your eyes, then look at the person behind you and point at the price matcher and shake your head. Don't forget to 'pfffft'.
