Hi Risny, no we have not yet received our design book. I'm hoping we will receive it within the next month!

Ooooooh that's an exciting update! Thanks for sharing! I'm hoping that we hear something in the next couple of weeks :D!

How was your trip to the DC? Did you find some of your decor choices?

I didn't know it's going to be overwhelming
It will be our first time to buy from the builder.

All we want is upgrade :D from tiles, kitchen, and hardwood. But, no backsplash or countertops for us we will do that after. We know a place a very cheap quartz and granite place to get one.

Anyone else concerned about the ensuite washroom? Such a great design for a home to be followed up with a horrible ensuite. any ideas?

It would be nice if we could delete the tub and have a double sink/larger vanity, but it's not an option.

Personally, we wouldn't get much use of a double sink. My husband and I use separate washrooms and get ready at different times during the day, and we don't have children.

For future resale, it is something that we were definitely concerned about. A house in that price-point almost necessitates a double-sink and is an expectation for most buyers.

Here is an option of what you could do after closing. Although harder to find, there are 48" vanities that accommodate 2 faucets. Most are trough style; one large basin with 2 faucets. The downfall is very little counter space. Hope this helps!

That's pretty much what I came up with also. I'm struggling between the angus and the Dundas all because of this washroom. It's just so small, however I love everything else about the house.......pretty sure that the angus will answer more of my needs then the Dundas. If anyone has any picks or upgrade list please share
