Thanks

The 43' lots which had ravine and lookout premium cost 41k. None had walkout. Of the 230 lots released only 2 lots had walkout, both were 30'.

The release we had back in Jan 2014 did draw so many people and there was no fight as such. Why fight this time? Sure it cannot be because of a lot as Mattamy will co-ordinate about that. It may be because someone allowed his/her friend to come and join him/her in the queue and book another lot? Noticed this when I went for March 2015 release where someone in front of me allowed another to join in order to get the reservation ticket for the next day.

Hi McHammer

Would you happen to know the lot numbers and phase for those 30' which had walkout basement? We asked around and been told that there was not any walkout available in the project at all.

Thanks

Hello,

New member, just found out about this forum yesterday, very useful information. Iam still trying to understand the process as Iam planning to buy my first home.

Any idea if there is gonna be a new release of the 30" in Milton this weekend? would that be considered as Phase 7 or just apart of Phase 6?

Mattamy actually released some new lots this past Friday. I went yesterday and saw they still had quite a few 30" lots left. For some reason it was a very silent release, they didn't send out any emails and hence there wasn't much traffic in the office. They have increased the prices by around $15k from the previous week.

I was interested, but the only lots available were backing onto the Catholic School and I wasn't pleased with the location as I think the street on those houses will be very busy and noise from the school.

Yeah was there as well, There were a full row of 30's available, which as you mentioned the one backing the school. I though since no one buying these, then something must be wrong with the location. but dont know exactly if it is the traffic or the school.

I do believe it is the school and traffic. We were there at the first day of the opening and most of the buyers were looking not at those houses backing the school. It is possible that the Ledger Way will have sidewalks on both sides.

When I was looking in Oakville at Mattamy the preserve they were releasing 5-8 lots every weekend so im not sure if they are doing the same in Milton. People were calling in all day on the friday to find out what lot sizes were getting released, some people would just show up at friday noon at start waiting in line for the saturday release.

Could be from any phase. The big opening they had a week ago were releases in phase 4, 6 and 7.
