Hjk1 do you know what the height of your basement ceiling is? Also, did you get 9" ceilings on your second floor?

We did not on the 2nd. I did not measure the basement, but I would say close to 8 feet. Under the foyer is very low, I'd say close to 6. I'll try to remember to measure next time. Did take a picture of the mechanical if anyone is interested. Goodman furnace (96.1% efficiency), and HRV installed.

We were back this morning and a quick measure of the basement is about 8'. The portion under the foyer is 6'-5".
