I'm sure we all put in our best efforts to not vote for the guy, but obviously more than enough people managed to screw that one up. Way to go people.

I'm a bit surprised have to say, and disappointed. I would love to see further breakdown of that stat. As we were standing in the very long lines last night, I was wondering "Are these folks voting Conservative? Really?" So there you go, the game has been played.

Hang in there Mike, don't get discouraged and keep at it.

Oh f@#%... the sky is falling.

Ford wins with the most seats AND popular vote (PC 40, NDP 33, Lib 19) and people want to dispute that more people DIDN'T want him than did. Perhaps but more people wanted the PCs than any other party... this is how Democracy works folks but everyone else must be wrong and you're right !

What I see:
"Oh hey look at these results, they're kind of interesting and perhaps warrant a further look at how our election system works."

What you see:
"BLARGHHGHHG PCS ARE TERRIBLE THIS ELECTION SUCKS HUGHD NEEDS TO COME RIGHT NOW AND SPEW SOME sh*t AND SET US ALL STRAIGHT"

You need to chill out with the US vs. THEM mentality, brah. Just chiiiillllll man.

The person you didn't vote for won the election, so the system is broken? What changes would you make to improve the election system Hodor ?

He got 114 votes in the entire riding of Milton to be the PC candidate! 114 votes for a full time regional councilor who had been campaigning for a significant period of time is a bad, why do people keep saying he should have won? I think he would prefer that people stop reminding everyone how embarrassing that was

I don't think it's broken. I don't have any problem with the results whatsoever- where are you getting that from?

Is there a better way of running elections? Maybe. What are they? I don't know.

That's what I took away from this comment but maybe I read too much into it.

I think the PCs won, not necessarily Doug Ford. IMO fiscal responsibility was the key issue and the PCs represented the closest thing to it albeit Ford could have done a better job of elaboriting on how, but it was evidently enough for a majority of people to vote their way.

You're so thoughtful.

I think the 5,000 PARM GILL signs that have been planted all over town the past month did a better job of that than a few postings on a forum that only 20 people read.

That's funny, but he is one of the 20 people who reads this forum and all the Facebook posts about it.

At least the Parm man didn’t add a little Mike Cluett missed a layup sign and attached them to the top his 5000 signs.
