Hi...i needed to trim the upper and lower metal track for closet doors I am trying to install. What tool would I use to do this? The upper track is a little more complex and involved to cut, where the bottom is straight forward. Would a mitre saw work? Guess i would need to swap in a metal blade?

Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

You need a hacksaw for sure to cut the metal track. A miter box of some sort will make it easier to make square cuts and it will also help you get the cut started.
