Hi again londeners, we've picked our brick now. Had a pretty limited selection actually, just 5 options all in the brown range.

We decided ultimately on a reddish-brown. It seemed like a pretty rough brick which is kind of cool and although it looked more brownish on the board (with only the 3 bricks there) we think it will end up looking pretty close to a red when it's all done in full. Hard to tell really ... I guess we'll find out for sure next year.

Hi miltonLeo, that's great that you picked your brick colour. We have elevation c as well. Most houses that I have seen with any type of stucco all tend to be in the brownish/beigey family. Do you remember the name of the boards that you had to choose from? I think they all have letters and numbers associated with them.

Hi Buttafly,

The board we picked was called TS-14. I can't remember what the other ones were, but I'm almost positive they all started with TS.

Wish I could find our brick colour on the web. The TS-14 board called it "Old wood ward", which is a bit strange with the space in between wood & ward but that's what was printed. I tried to find Old wood ward on the hanson brick website, and also searched for "old woodward" just in case, but no dice. Drag, since i'm kind of curious to see how much of the red tones show through in the finished product. Guess we'll just have to wait and see ...

Hi miltonLeo,

It sounds like a nice brick choice! My husband is looking for something that is in the reddy-brown family so this could be right up our alley. I did some searching online and found something on "Beehive Brick & Stone" website that was called "woodward blend". I've copied the link below. Do you think this looks anything like board TS-14?

Hey Buttafly, I think it might look like the red in that picture actually. However take this with a huge grain of salt for two reasons: (1) it's near impossible to envision the full product from only 3 tiny bricks, and (2) if you showed me 3 other red houses with some brown in them, I'd probably say it looked like those ones too. :)

Does anyone have an idea how much the property tax will be on the Juneberry?

Hi ShellyD,

We were told to estimate about $4K but we were really hoping it would not be more than $3300-3500.

I'm hoping it's in that region as well. 4K is more than I planned for!

Does anyone have any Juneberry news? Are there any currently under construction? I believe a few are going to be ready in Nov in the Hawthorne Village 16A? phase. I'm dying to have a peek.

I am also dying for some news as well! LOL I'm also hoping that anyone closing at the end of this year will post the upgrades sheets or maybe email them if we ask really really nicely :D so that we can get an idea of the upgrade costs.

Buutafly77 asked
Does anyone have any pricing on changes yet, for instance:

* 9 ft ceilings on the second floor
*Toy box/window seat in the bedroom
*Cost of the built in desk in the loft
*cost of the uppers and lowers in the laundry room
*smooth ceilings on the upper

I know Mattamy does not allow changes anymore, but do you think they will do simple ones.
Like install a second barrel arc, (where that media alcove is) from the dining room to the great room,Circling the fire place?

Calling all Juneberrians!! Milton_bound's Juneberry elevation C is going up and it looks GREAT!! We discovered it on Kelman Court which is just off os Louis St. Laurent Boulevard. It is lot 23. It has the first and second levels up so you can really get a good idea of what the home is going to look like. We took a few pictures- hope you don't mind Milton_Bound!

You all should check it out!! :D
