We've recently purchased new appliances and TV's

Kitchenaid for the kitchen -fridge, stove, dishwasher, hood fan
Samsung flat screens - the largest 46"
LG - Washer an Dryer.

We're trying to decide if we should get the extended warranties.

Is it worth getting extended warranties for these appliances and electronics or is it a waste?

We've had our current appliances and electronics for at least five years and none of them have ever broken down.

We bought them at the Brick by the way and they are trying to use their full circle warranty program to convince us, but I don't feel like tying up money for five years.

I personally would consider extended on the fridge, stove and w/d

I wouldn't bother so much with the dishwasher and TV. Pay by the right CC and the manu warranty doubles..

The extended usually gets you more coverage too. There's a post on here about a wonky fridge. They were told, "If you had the extended, we could help, sorry."

Besides which...Do you really want to call the day AFTER the warranty expires? (Happened to us on the microwave.)
