Awesome Freudian, Zee.

So THAT's where our sanity went, right down the drain. :D

Zee,

I am going to file this one under the "believe it when I see it" category. LSL overpass is a mirage on the horizon like that oasis in the desert when you are dying of thirst. If it was being built by Mattamy and there was a family waiting to move in and live under it, we would have been driving over it 18 months ago.

You knocked on my door last month right in the middle of dinner and at the time my focus was on trying to get the food into the kids mouths and not up the walls, so unfortunately, I was not prepared to let you know exactly what I think of the planning ability of this town.

The blatant incompetence of whoever does the planning for road construction down in that area needs to be fired and replaced with a monkey as I am sure it would do a better job.

I voted for you in good faith hoping that you understand exactly how poor a job somebody is doing and hopefully some of your efforts will be to get these jobs done on time and more importantly, next time, try and plan it in such a way that the tax paying citizens with jobs can actually get to work so we can pay our taxes and your salary.

I don't know about anyone else, but I really enjoyed my 20km 1 hour drive to work this morning. Took me 40 minutes to get to Derry/407, then all the fun Mississauga construction delayed me even further. FML.

Two more weeks and I'll be humping the 407 though, so looking forward to that.

To be honest, I don’t know why anyone would pick west Milton unless they had a job in Burlington or something.

It’s going to be the better area, but not for like….15 years when the construction settles and they open the new ramp to the 401. Until then, it just seems like a total nightmare.

Ugh. I was out running this morning (was luckily working from home today) and it was bumper to bumper absolutely everywhere - up Scott was a disaster, Main street was rammed from Bronte all the way West to Savoline. Brutal. LSL needs to open up to help relieve this traffic - sounds great that this is supposed to happen soon, but like jambel I'll believe it when I actually see it.

Another question - will we be back to 2 lanes over the tracks once it opens on Tuesday? The reduction to a single lane in both directions also made for some pretty bad rush hour traffic earlier in the week.

So, if anybody is coming to our open houses on Nairn and Challinor this Sunday, they are from 2-4pm, please leave your house at 9:30am to make it on time. Good thing Dymott will be open at Trem----- oh wait... LOL

Monday can't come soon enough (who ever says THAT?)

Sanity sewers FTW.

not to derail OP, but west milton is the only real place in west GTA a young person can buy a townhome. burlington isn't bad either and no one really wants to be in hamilton. everywhere else in a first time home buyers price range is a condo in mississauga or etobicoke.

Seriously what a clusterfack this is. Northbound on Bronte is backed up to almost Laurier.

Serves you right to believe in politicians who tend to speak from both sides of their mouth. Zee of course won't care as he'll be sitting in the big house in Ottawa come next year, he thinks!

All joking aside, today was pathetic leaving and coming home. Borderline gridlock. How to screw thousands of commuters. Regional planning should be ashamed of themselves. They don't give a crap about Milton residents. This would never happen in Burlington, strangle a major artery on a workday, they should be ashamed.
