My wife wont let me go skydiving, and with the recent unfortunate incidents, she may have a point. But a friend highly recommended iFLY in Oakville, and thought it would be a much safer alternative. Has anyone been to this place and can pass on their experience?

Thank you.

We dropped in there one day with my nephew and niece to check it out. Looked very cool. Mix of adults and kids. The ones we saw were all beginners. Time goes by quickly. However, my friend took his two boys (around 12 and 14) and posted videos and they did very well. Not sure how many flights they paid for. The instructor took them both up to the top on their last flight.

I can't imagine it feels the same as jumping out of a plane though. Taking that step would be way freaky compared to going in this wind tunnel.

It looks totally awesome, I want to go but so far I'm balking at the price of $72 + tax for 2 flights (it doesn't say what the duration is, but I'm guessing each isn't that long).

You can tell your wife that I've seen ambulances there on several occasions while driving past it to get to my yacht, so she probably won't let you do that either.

Maybe she will let you play outside after you finish your chores.

Perhaps your condescending remarks are an ill attempt at humour, but they come across as spiteful and are not appreciated. Please put on your big boy pants and act as an adult.
If you have nothing positive to say, you would be better off to not make any comments at all.
Thank you.

Both of those don't look like much fun. One of these:

Nah, don't like to spill my drink on a windy day.

I took my grandchildren there today and it cost $160 for the two of them, ages 6 and 7. For the price they each received approximately twenty minutes of instruction and two, two minute flights. Yes, a total of four minutes in the glass tunnel. Was I glad I took them, yes. Would I do it again, no. Very pricey and probably more costly for adults. Tomorrow I'm taking them to the indoor trampoline, Sky Zone, which is more reasonably priced.

Could you please adopt me as one of your grandchildren?

On a serious note, the price is "somewhat reasonable" for the experience, I guess, but it seems that it is for an awfully short time. Still thinking. Thanks for sharing.

My coworkers 55 year old sister went yesterday for her bday and thought it was fun.

My nephew went there and had a blast. In my opinion it is pricey though.
