Does anyone know where donations of winter coats are needed?

They are collecting them at Shoeless Joes by the Superstore

Every day throughout Halton Region there is a student, a family, or a community member who benefits from the many agencies that are sponsored by the United Way.

Here at W.I. Dick we recognize the importance of supporting the community we live in. We have planned a few events to support the United Way and to teach our students the importance of being global citizens.

Coat and Sweater Drive

To kick off the week of November 24-28, we are accepting donations of winter coats and sweaters. These will be sent to the Salvation Army here in Milton.

I have reposted the following from my FB friend...The Good For Nothing Store operates out of Southside Community Church on Derry Road.

We are still looking for childrens snow pants, coats, boots, hats, mitts/gloves, womens and mens gloves and coats. though we appreciate your desire to donate household items, we are accepting only clothing at this time. Household items are on a special request basis.Those of us who serve at the GFNS can tell you that the lives of those in need who come to the store for assistance...is greatly impacted. Thank you for supporting this outreach ministry.
