I'm pretty sure I've seen them at Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart. This place has them too. http://everlast.donleighsports.ca/produ ... cat_id=126 |

Only ones I've seem at CT are the ones that you can bolt into a header beam. |

Hey Rocky!, I have seen just wrapping chain around the beam in the basement and getting some nuts and bolts to hold it up. Kind of ghetto but it gets the job done! Good luck Matt |

We too used the chain over the beam "technique"....works fine for us. Good luck finding your device though! |

I use the bolt in style for my 75lb bag. What I did is use a piece of hardwood to bridge 2 headers and then mounted to the wood. No floor shake on the above room and it is strong as heck |

I have the Ikea swing mounted to the I-beam. It is up to 200lbs and girls are really using it every day like crazies. Went to CT, haven’t seen anything like you mentioned here. Instead it was the plate with the ring. I drilled the e-beam with CT regular drill bit and bolted this plate on the e-beam. Four bolts. |

My bag hangs from the beam. I drilled a hole through the beam and have it anchored. The bag also has springs to take some of the blow. It's used for punching and kicking. You don't see alot of these around. There's a water filled bladder inside with 2" of foam around it inside the bad. You can change the weight of the bag with water and the extra space gets filled up with air. |
