I am so happy to hear this. I have been checking this thread daily to see if you found your cat.

Found a cat in our porch. Trying to get inside our house. We opened the door and he came in. After a while, he wants to go out but just stay in our porch. We never have pets so we don't know what to do. Should we leave him out and hoping he finds his way home? Pls. Advise. Orange color cat and it's a male.

He's in and out of the house. He's inside again!

He's probably an indoor cat, obviously not accustomed to low temperatures. Maybe you can house him in your garage overnight? Keep the door open 8-10". Pile a blanket into a box as a bed, put some food and water out. No cat food? Try a can of tuna or salmon.

Call someone tomorrow, consult the numbers in one of the above posts.

He finally left. Hope he finds his way home. Thanks for the advice. We will know what to do next time. It was a good short experience. The kids were pretty excited.

There are lots of missing cat threads right now, especially about orange cats. You should tell them about your sighting as well.

So glad you found him! I would be devastated if either of our indoor cats got out so I'm sure it's been a tough week for you!

This is wonderful! Went through the same experience when our cat went missing, it's awful! I never would have thought of the game camera, thanks for explaining your method.

Someone with a blood hound needs to start a pet-finding business. Seriously.
