What a stupid idea. Never heard of an accident there.

Driving on the wrong side of the road isn't even illegal.

well that's sort of true and not true, depending on the circumstances. you can't drive on the other side of the road in certain listed circumstances, like near a curve, an underpass, a crest of a hill, a railway. you certainly can't drive on the wrong side of a divided highway (i.e. the 401). and somewhat relatedly, you can't drive the wrong way of a one-way road. and if you feel like driving around on the wrong side of the road for kicks, interfering with traffic (or causing an accident), then you'll probably end up getting charged with careless or something, so in that sense it would be "illegal".

so yeah, if you exit that plaza going the wrong way (s/b) in the n/b lanes of Ontario and get in a collision, then subject as always to the particular circumstances, I'd imagine you could end up getting a ticket.

I guess we'll just have to wait for an accident to happen before something can be done about it. Normally, that's what government does anyways ... reactive things rather than being proactive.

Accident can happen two ways - 1) you hit someone 2) someone hits you. You can try and not hit someone, but you can never guarantee that other car won't hit you.

Anyways, thanks for reading the post and providing your valuable suggestions. I guess you folks don't agree with me - which is fine. Everyone has a right to an opinion. Safe driving :)
