Personally, the only house I liked from that group was the Fieldgate homes. But those 3 builders only offered 43's as there biggest and we wanted a 50' lot because our current home is a 36'. I like the Mattamy homes so I'm not worried.

And congrats to The Pinky's on the switch to the Wildrose! :P

FYI - My cousin called me at 1:30pm and said the line-up at Milton Trails is already at #53 for the 4pm release!

wow #53 at 1:30 ... that's crazier than us! the weather is very similar though, i hope they're prepared for the sleepover lol

The release was for 4pm...about 35 houses from each builder a mixture of towns, semis, 36', 38' and 43' wide lot detached homes. Was crazy, but my cousin bought a Greenpark home off of Savoline, so they'll be just south of us.

I had no idea they were releasing some today- the flyer that came in the mail said Saturday at 11 am. I'm so curious about the pricing and sq. ft. of the homes.... I'm going to try to make it out there tomorrow.

This is where you stop being cozy neighbours and start getting bitter as your neighbour who bought before you chooses the colours you wanted :)

I think when we bought ours is a Wild Rose C, so it was using the TS line, you will almost certainly choose from a different line that would include siding, but who knows. I think we were almost last on our street to buy, so I think we were left with 5 or 6 options of the 9, with our 2 top favs taken already (our neighbour took our #1 choice.. boo!!! It is supposed to be no same brick on either side and across, I've even heard 2 houses each way on other side, but then I have seen other houses beside each other with the same brick, so I don't know how that went.

Brick selection for us was pretty soon after buying and is done in order of purchase. So you can't choose your brick until everyone else who bought goes first. It was really hilarious because they wanted us to choose in an hour.. I let them know that we would take a day thank you! They give you a map of an area that would have the same brick/siding scheme but not necessarily on your model. I'm pretty sure there is an A on Wettlaufer an A on Gooch, an A on Nunn and definitely one on Kelman Cr with a rear balcony.

Hey has anyone thought of colours of brick yet? Like do we know how many there are to pick from and how many houses may affect our choice of brick?

Should I have 3 or 4 favourites to pick from or would two be sufficient? Just wondering my chances on getting the brick and siding that I actually want.

I say at least 3 choices. I'm not sure how they do the brick colour, but I'm assuming they will go in order of the how the houses were sold, but I could be wrong.

Hopefully there is no conflicts, but I know we will have at least 3 choices going in. We've looked at alot of exteriors and can't decide...

Hello ladies, gentlemen !
We are those 'Russian guys' who wanted to buy lot #4, bought lot #7 and then returned it back. Do you remember us?
Well, we are back!
We bought lot#3 on Gooch Crs. This street is just next to yours on a south. House is build already, nobody lived in it and it is 50' lot SpiceBush. This house is very good for us!
We will move in December 21, 2009 and will wait for you one long year. Our house (Sherwood) was sold yesterday (it took 2 days only to sell it) over the asking price.
I still cannot belive, everything is happening so fast! One week ago I was still 'crying' that we did not get 'that' lot #4.

You are welcome to visit us in our new home any time!

Natalia.

Thats really awesome. Myself and Dilex checked out that house during the open house and it is really nice 5 bedroom Spicebush. I hope you guys come out to our street 'events'. I'll get Amabelle to send you an evite. Just send a PM message to her with your email. Congrats on the purchase!

Congrats Natalia & Alex on getting the Spicebush on Gooch! Alex and I went to the open house to check it out and we loved the home…we even had second thoughts about switching to the Spicebush ourselves:) Then we realized that the Primrose will be plenty big for the two of us.
Sorry that it did not work out for you to get lot # 4…we ourselves were quite upset about what happened too since we had our heart set on lot # 3 and a different model initially. However it looks like you got exactly what you wanted with the new home and you'll be able to enjoy it a whole year sooner!

Amy: I did not get the Evite yet….can you add me to the list? Thanks so much!

The intercorp homes look sweet - based on their previous developments.
