We just picked our exterior colours. We went with the new one - we were picking from the VS ones. We went with VS-19. It's hard because we couldn't see any houses with it finished but it looked really nice and "Nick" at the sales centre said it's definitely the one he'd choose. I hope it looks good!
Happy picking, everyone!

Is that the dark brown with the acid wash, called Silverleaf...

The main brick is "Old Queenston" It's like a dirty beige. The Accent brick is "Summerside". The shutters are a muted blue, the little siding areas are a khaki colour.
I have a picture of the board that I'll try to post later.

I`ve updated our street map on the first post to show the house numbers. Enjoy. :D

Let's see if this works.
Here's VS19, the exterior colour package we chose.

Here's some more:
VS-17

VS-14A

VS-13

I didn't get pictures of the other ones because we weren't very interested in them but when we actually drove by the houses, we liked VS-12 which is similar to VS-13 but with a darker brick staggered with the reddish brick. VS-12 was our 2nd choice, VS-17 was our 3rd although I would have probably picked VS-14A I don't think it matters much since VS-19 is a new choice, it is unlikely it would get discontinued so we'd have to go with our 2nd or 3rd choices.

And nice job on the house #'s on the map, #1. Interesting that they go up by 4's. Anyone want to switch #'s? LOL

I was told that I would be getting my first choice, barring supply issues. It might be different for others... :?

Just make sure you pick the brick colour you like. Shutters, trim and siding can be painted to your liking.

Hello Coombs Cr. neighbours

Glad to see so much interest in your new neighbourhood.
For anyone interested in the design of Tremaine Road between Derry Road and the new Main St. traffic circle there will be a public information centre on Thursday March 4th between 6 and 8.30 pm. at the Milton Sports Centre meeting room #2 on the north side of the rinks to present the proposed designs for the road, walkways and landscaping along this section of road which is scheduled to be completed by March 31st 2011 as part of the Federal/Provincial Infrastructure program.

Check www.halton.ca for more details under Tremaine Road construction.
I will also be posting this information on other threads and sites for all the neioghbours of Tremaine Road to be informed and involved in the design.

Hope to see you there.

Hello Folks,

How do I post a picture? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Almaz

You have to go to a photo hosting site. I use www.photobucket.com - its free. Get an account, upload your photo there. After the photo is uploaded, view your album, put the cursor over the photo you want to post or was just uploaded and it will show you 4 different links, you want the IMG code. Copy that code and paste it in the message. The image code will look like
[ IMG]http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/qq68/Totalpkg50/howtopostpics-1.jpg[/IMG ] <-- Something like that.

Very nice. They replaced the hallway tile with hardwood. Yikes that would be expensive.

Almaz, where is this house? If I had to guess it was on Nunn or Whaley -- PM if you'd rather not post publicly but as a fellow WR owner I'm always curious :)

I believe those are chocolate? Nice looking kitchen. Not a fan of hardwood in the kitchen, because the flooring in the kitchen has to be very durable due to the abuse and high traffic in the kitchen. Nice pics of the WR...

What, no hardwood in the laundry room? :)

My folks have light hard wood in the kitchen of their house and it looks fantastic -- I think they've had it down for 17 years now and looks great. They do however get it stripped and re-done every 4 odd years.
