Your kitchen is beautiful! We are debating to put in pot lights in our kitchen but we don't know how many to put. How many pot lights did you put in the kitchen? do they give off alot of light?

We have 6 Potlights in our kitchen including a light over the table. Depending on what kind of Potlights you install will determine the amount of light they give off.
My husband is an Electrician so he doesn't purchase your generic potlights from Home Dept, Rona, etc....

Question for JR154:
- What kitchen package is yours....sous, etc. etc...
- is it granite that you have - how much extra did you have to pay for that
- Also, I would like to find out what width size washing machine could fit into the closet you have there. In my current home, I have front loader so I want to see if I can just bring it to this closet and have a shelf built to put the dryer on the top.

Thanks!!

Hey everyone,

I have a question in regards to the stainless steel over the range microwave. When we went to the design centre to choose our interior options, one of the things we chose was the microwave. We had asked our representative what make the microwave was and she said that she thinks its a whirlpool. Nobody was able to give us a straight answer. If someone purchased the microwave with the builder would you mind getting back to me and just confirming what make the microwave is, please and thanks.

Monika

I am planning on installing a wall mount electric fireplace in the great room and I was looking for some opions - maybe some of you have experince with this. The fireplace we purchased sticks out about 5" from the wall. Do you think that is too much and would look awkward?

We are planning on mounting it to the short 6' wall (shared with the powder room)

that is where we have our TV mounted and I think a wall mounted fireplace would look amazing under it!

We currently have our tv mounted and we will also be adding a mantel and the fireplace below. Also, we are going to install stone vaneer on the wall. I am excited about it, but my bf thinks it might look funny.

Nice to know I'm not crazy!

I'll post some pics once it's done
