been kind of quiet on this forum....must be everyone moving etc....hope all is well!

You're not going to believe this but notoriously...Mattamy goofed up on our master ensuite...put in a white tub instead of a BONE colour...
unfortunately they already tiled up the whole ensuite! Lots of re-work there to be done....

hopefully they don't come up with some BS excuse that they can't do it...but I think it will be ok though....

I know for myself I've been super busy. I've been off work since we moved in and finished installing the cook top, hardwood floors, the washer/dryer, hood fan, TV, had to re-run cable, network line through the conduit, and the fridge water line. Also had to empty out our PODS unit and move everything in...

Still have to install the wall oven and, dishwasher and garage door openers.

Hopefully I'm done this weekend...

I think everyone is also really busy...

Also, anyone found a dish rack that fits in the 1/2 size sink in the kitchen. I found some on Ebay, but wanna see if I can find something locally.

The size of the sink is 15-3/4" x 12".

Yeah, thanks. I edited the post above with the dimensions. I've checked Walmart, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Ikea and even the dollar store with no luck.

BTW guys, spoke to the Mattamy build team. They started to level the land around the forest on Gooch and will start on our street soon. The getting it ready to put in the walking trail around the forest.

Anyone else installed their GDO yet? I know Dave has and its extremely quiet. I plan on attacking mine this weekend, but no guarantees...

Need to re-enforce for 2 ceiling fans too.. oh fun.

Hey Coombsters!

Just wanted to invite anyone who can to go to Mexi-Cala Rosa's tomorrow (in the Galaxy Cinema parking lot, just past Home Depot)
25% of proceeds are going to the Deck Youth Centre all day tomorrow - Thursday, November 25th.
I'll be there around 11:30am for lunch and probably again around 5pm for supper if anyone wants to join us!!! And Oliver will be there all day so come and say hi.

Total Pkg:

Did you see the elkay dishracks:

A little pricey, but it's stainless steel. The closest dimension to what you need is 15; I haven't seen 15 3/4...

Yeah, thats alot. I found 2 on Ebay that will fit, I'm just waiting a couple weeks because I usually get it shipped to my sisters place in the States and she's coming to visit at Christmas...

On another note. I've been extremely happy with the build team for our street. Dan has been awesome, and almost all the big issues have been resolved with us, including the operating window in our master retreat. Our hood vent was also relocated twice with no issues. I was going to hold off on our survey, but other than minor cosmetic issues and items that are weather permitting, we've been happy with the service. If you guys are reasonable with them I'm sure all the issues will get resolved.

hey all!

Haven't been online much...have too much to unpack still! Between all the tradesmen coming through the house and the little guy, I am finding it hard to get everything done.

Must say that we love the street! Its so nice and quiet...well in the evenings anyway:) Looking forward to seeing everyone out and about.

Dean: I found a small dish rack at Crates & Barrel by Square One. Check it out online http://www.crateandbarrel.com/kitchen-a ... ck/s613081 Will be going next week to purchase it. Hope it fits! Its priced at $36.95. Back to unpacking!
Diana

Guys, in case you are wondering. Just did the home inspection with Andy Shaw of Halton Home Inspection Service. Highly recommend him, found some issues with the house to put on the 30 day. Very detailed and checked alot of things I would have not even considered. I don't wanna go into the issues, but feel free to stop by or give me a shout and i can go into more detail. BTW, if you are going to use Andy, I would recommend booking asap so you can get the inspection before your 30 day PDI.

Thanks again to Andy Shaw for the great service.
