This morning, as I was emptying out my freezer, my dogs were looking at me funny. I wonder why.

Why bother recycling when more than half the stuff ends up in landfill anyways? freakin waste of time!

I'd love to hear the evidence pointing to 50%+ of Milton's recycling program ending up in the landfill.

For those interested I am looking to get a few residents together on April 22nd Sunday to help clean up a few parks in Ward 6. Meighan Park was chosen as one as well as McDuffe Park.

If you're interested in participating that Sunday please email me mike@mikecluett.ca. We've had a few park cleanups over the last year or so and they're always a good time.

If I'm in town that weekend I'll definitely help out.

Thanks miltonLeo!! You are wonderful neighbours :)

So Mike, can the town do anything to clean this mess up? or get on the owners of these properties (Mattamy etc) to clean up the mess? Driving down there this morning on LSL esp near the park at Thompson, there are garbage bags everywhere, one of the trees near Freeman trail has packing gauze stuck in it. It looks like a Christmas tree!

Nah, I'd prefer Brampton. We have taken in enough of their garbage, time for some payback.

It's so windy that one of my chickens laid the same egg four times.

Hello!

I came home to find both of my blue bins gone.
If you live in the McJannett/Savoline area and somehow have found yourself with an abundance of recycling bins...may I have one or two, please?

Thanks,

Novel

I returned a couple today that blew onto our yard from down the street. Thankfully the owner had written their house number on the bins. When you get yours back, make sure you write your street and house number on them!
