Are losers. Go penny pinch on your own time. I cant stand these losers showing every ad to the cashier and making a line full of people wait. Lets be honest here. You're being very inconsiderate to the people in line behind you so that you can save a few dollars. They should be forced to split it with the people they make wait. Im going to make them feel uncomfortable from now on and drop some profanity next time. If we all nail one of these losers with this maybe we can shame them into stopping.
People like you make me sick....piss off.

+1, if you don't like to see people doing price match don't go to the store that advertise "PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE". Go piss off somewhere else. Shop online or go to high end stores like Longos, Whole Food or stores who don't price match. Don't go shopping at No Frills and Walmart and ack like a snob. If I see you giving me attitude because I'm trying to save a buck or two, I make sure I take my time to piss you off.

Same goes with "Scanning Code of Practice". I'll make sure I get it free if it get scanned wrong at the cashier.

The other day a family in front of me was buying juice and it scanned at the wrong price. The casher tried to give it to them on the sale price but I stepped in and said it should be free because of "Scanning Code of Practice". The cashier had to get the manager to override and I could care less if I had to wait longer for my turn.

You can call me cheap but the way I see it I'm being a smart shopper.

I just downloaded flipp to have a look at it. Complicated and time consuming. Not worth it to me.

It's probably not optimized for 4 thumb operation. Contact the developer with your concerns

 .....ahhhh feels good to be home. Feels like I never left. I see things haven't changed on this site.
I think price matching is a fantastic idea. From a business perspective it generates revenue for the retailer and stimulates the competitive drive between stores. It brings people into the store to purchase the item that is on sale and most likely encourages the customer to pick up other items that are not on sale, thus driving up sales.
So what you have to wait an extra minute or two for someone who is price matching. You probably wait longer idling in your car wasting gas for a 2 dollar coffee at a drive thru. People wait in line all the time for various reasons. That's life! Chill ,Smile and be happy.

Well said!

Those snobs who have very low tolerance for the less fortunate people often do not realize that they may one day be on the other side.

Agreed. Those thumbs would come in handy when flipping through flyers.

The app is super easy to use and saves a bunch of time compared to looking through physical flyers. You can search for a product to get a list from all flyers. Select the cheapest one and it goes to your favorites folder.

People who price match are losers
Really
If you know the store down the road sells the item for that price, why bother going to a different store and begging for the dollar back lol

I wonder why any store would bother with this policy anyways
I mean common sense; if I work in marketing head office and see my competitor has $1 cheaper, I could (if I wanted to) adjust our stores price accordingly
Why bother wasting store, cashier, and sometimes managements time to check a flyer and phone a rival store

Metro, Food Basics, No Frills, Super Store and Walmart all put out flyers each week. There is usually a good buy or 2 from each one. We shop Superstore as it is closest and save the time and gas instead of going to all 5 stores. The whole idea is to offer sale items to lure you into any given store hoping you will do your complete weekly shop there. It is easier to match the competitors sale price at the cashier than changing the bar-code price for the week and then changing it back, they would not have a lot of notice to do this. By price matching the store can get you in the door and hope you do a big shop with no marketing cost to them.

People who price match are losers - I disagree with that statement, people who price match are good with money management skills.
Really
If you know the store down the road sells the item for that price, why bother going to a different store and begging for the dollar back lol - simple! One stop shops are more convenient
I wonder why any store would bother with this policy anyways - In addition to previous comment, This is called "Branding" and staying competitive in the market.
I mean common sense; if I work in marketing head office and see my competitor has $1 cheaper, I could (if I wanted to) adjust our stores price accordingly - More often than not, a consumer will shop based on price and convenience of location.

Brands who don't provide the same kind of experience that most consumers enjoy from their competitor , are likely to lose customers.

Call Best Buy and ask them why they do when they're the same company? (I know the answer, I'm just too lazy to explain it  )

i just cant understand how wanting to save a chunk of money off of your grocery bill makes you a loser?

how much of an inconvience to the cashier is it really? to spend an extra 1 -2 minutes looking at a phone screen/or some flyers, typing in the new numbers?
