Using Flipp with the items at the end of the belt I can price match as fast as the cashier can scan. 10 items in 20 seconds tops. On any given shop the most PM'ed items is usually only 4-6.

So your solution is I should avoid the price matchers? that makes no sense. This is Canada.

The solution is simple. If you want to whip out the flyers when theres a lineup of people trying to pay the "regular" price, like you're smarter than everyone else and will therefore make them all wait while you save your $2, do it when the store is empty. Have some respect for other peoples time. Don't step all over all of us trying to pay for our groceries so we can go home. Your time isn't more special than the 4 people behind you. Clearly you don't care because you don't even acknowledge your wasting everyones time by doing it. I guarantee you that you're the same people that are texting and have to be honked at to move your car when the light turns green. And then you flash the bird because it was only 2 seconds.

You're bang on Princess.

We need to stop letting these people hold us hostage at the checkouts. Fight the power!!
So PP are you going to show solidarity by divorcing your price matching wife? The money she saves helps buy your leaf tickets and beer. :D

And I guarantee you that there are more of us PM'ers than people like you. In the 24 pages of this thread all you've done is converted more people to price matching. Some posters object to the way some people do it by just handing the flyer to the cashier and making him/her look for it, that I don't like that either. 70% of the posters in this thread are neutral or more concerned where you leave your cart. Look back, YOU are the only one in the entire thread that is so dead set against PM'ing.

Yes this is Canada so you try and get the laws changed to ban this practise, until then YOU LOSE.

Guys, seriously, give up arguing with this pig. Such a waste of time. I cannot, for the life of me dignify any of its posts with a response.

Thank you KGC....
It serves no purpose to deal with her. She just doesn't get it. She complains about price matchers but does she stop to realize that the same wait time can be applied, should she be in line behind someone who decides to dispute the price coming up on a scanned item and asking the cashier to call the department to do a price check? I find this happens more often than having a price matcher in front of me.
Its people like Princess Beata who will post in the next few months with a thread complaining about why she had to wait so long standing in line to return an item on Boxing Day.

ahhhh.... "kids say the darndest things, dont they?" I find this kind of funny, I get a chuckle out of people who cant handle first world problems.

Look, cant you price matchers just either go early in the morning or late at night to do your business? Why inconvenience the people that just want to pay for their groceries and go home? You're being really inconsiderate.

Have you heard of a Self Checkout PB? If you're in a rush PB, just stick to that. Another suggestion is not shop at stores that price match, such as Longos. There are other stores in Milton that do not offer price matching. The stores that offer price matching made a conscious business decision to have their customers shop at one place and bring their money to their store by offering customers to price match. If you don't like it then I suggest to take it up with the store manager and like said before start shopping else where. Deal with it!

Hire a personal shopper that price matches. They pay for themselves.
What kind of broke-ass princess does her own potato chip and zit cream shopping?
