hi
i have a vanee HRV 60 with Lite-Touch Central Control . When i press the intermediate button on the control green light turns on but no fan. The fan works on min and max, but fan/blower speed remains same on min and max, is that how it is suppose to be?
thanks.

Not sure if you are asking two questions....

First RFM :p

Intermittent mode, the unit is OFF for 40 minutes per hour and ventilates at minimum speed the remaining 20 minutes of the hour.

Thanks for the reply. Yes im asking 2 questions. I read manual, i understand that it runs 20mins and off for 40 mins, but should the unit start working as soon as i press the intermediate button and i assume thats when the hour start, mine does nothing
Second question is, the fan speed is same on min and max is that how its suppose to be?
thanks

True, I have noticed that when set on Intermittent the unit does not always start right away. Minimum has a slow fan setting and Maximum has a high fan setting, both in the HRV and at the furnace.

I had this problem as well. It usually kicks in right away, or soon after.

Maybe try turning off your furnace with the 'light switch', unplug your HRV and leave it for a few minutes. Power everything back on and see if it works.

In my case the control switch was broken. Mattamy replaced it as it was still under warranty.

Hopefully you're all cleaning your HRV - filters, core, the bottom of the unit, and making sure the condensate line is clean.
