Looking to purchase a 50 gallon power vent tank water heater. Which brand is best? I see the large retailers either carry Rheem, Whirlpool, GWS or Giant. Are they all the same?

I bought mine four years ago from Home Depot. It says GE on the tank but GSW in the manual. No problems so far.

Home depot switched to Rheem few years ago. I've bought two from them and had no problems with them at all.

Any recommended installers? I'm currently renting from ex-Direct Energy, but my water heater is really noisy when it heats the water, plus I'm not a fan of the price increases...

Thanks!
