Here are some pictures of installs done by others that are just plain "POOR" .We see this every year .
Someone used gas pipe as a drain pipe for the AC Evaporator coil which rusted in no time because it is just black iron unprotected pipe and not galvanized then it will get so plugged up with rust that the condensation will back fill in the coil and spill inside the furnace taking out what it likes with it !!
Come winter there will be no heat .
Another picture you can see the armaflex insulation not completely covering the suction refrigeration pipe which will cause condensation to drip on the basement floor and if that basement gets finished then it is going to drip on the new drywall in the ceiling causing a water stain mark .
Another picture you see the high voltage (230 volts ) red wire running with the lineset which is a clear violation of the electric code that the ESA is supposed to enforce ! This install would never pass ESA inspection.
