I agree, we had to park at bulk barn. Everyone is parking far to avoid parking tickets.

Can the city administration contact Loblaws Superstore to discuss leasing their parking lot or maybe obtaining parking concessions from them. Even if it's reserved parking the users pay for.

We cannot take no action or wait for Metrolynx as they don't care. Plus they enjoy the extra $$$ from parking fines.

Paying over $300 a month to use the go train to get to work and now they're telling us to drive to Lisgar GO. Hahaha. Right because I want to deal with traffic getting there and back from there everyday. What b.s.

Everyone knows in Milton the last couple of years parking has been a problem at the Milton go lot.
Imagine in a few more years when people take the train with the increased population. It'll be a real pain once they start building a parking structure. Where will all those cars park? Half the lot will be taken up. Just when you thought it was bad now.

They need to expropriate some land to build the structure and move one of the businesses that does not need to be in that area to somewhere north of steeles (link line or the concrete place south of the track). Give them a sweet deal on the land, everyone's happy.

Jawesh, I don't think that they would move a business like link line or the concrete place. Didn't they have to raise the road around the Superstore , when they built the underpass for the train track, or something a few years ago? It would not be economical to move the entire concrete place.

Alternatively, Tony could opt for the school run to assist those parents losing out on the parking spots at the station as a result of having to drop the kiddies off first. Just think how many he could shuttle about town without the restrictions of pesky annoyances like laws and seatbelts.

All this has me seriously considering moving out of Milton. I am utterly frustrated with the parking situation and not seeing any relief in the near future. In fact with the new developments planned its going to be a nightmare!!!!

I am going to try driving to Bronte this week am giving up on Milton Go.

I just drove to Bronte on Friday since I was starting late. I was lucky to find super close parking... but there was a lot of parking spot in the back of the North lot. They even have a huge lot East of the main north lot... that lot was 20% full. I also found leaving the lot way easier. There is not a lot of east west traffic on the road.

I am still not convinced that a trip to Bronte everyday is worth the $0.90 saving on fare vs. the 40+km you have to drive.
